The North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association is pleased to announce that we will be providing 2024 North Carolina Firearms Laws Training for sheriffs and sheriffs’ personnel.
The training session will consist of a detailed discussion of State and federal standards for the transfer and possession of firearms in North Carolina, and specific instructions on the standards for the issuance and denial of concealed handgun permits. Participants will receive a copy of the NCSA training materials on North Carolina Firearms Laws, including the PowerPoint slides presented during the class.
Lunch and instructional materials will be provided ONLY to those who have registered in advance.

Tuesday, May 14 – Pitt County
Monday, June 10 – Wake County
If more than one person is attending from your agency, each person attending must register separately.
