Click HERE for the agenda. Topics include Do’s and Don’ts of Building a Federal Case, Financial Investigations/Money Laundering, Legal Writing for Law Enforcement, Case Studies on Investigations of a Drug Trafficking Organization and Violent Street Gangs, A View of Trials from a Federal Judge’s Perspective featuring The Honorable Terrence W. Boyle, (link to bio) a keynote speech from Forensic Expert Kenny Kinsey (https://kennykinseyandassoc.com/about.html), and more! The conference will be held at the McKimmon Conference and Training Center at NC State University, a premier training facility. This conference offers new material for both OCDETF conference alumni and first-time attendees, with a focus on building investigations for federal crimes and winning at trial in front of a federal judge. We encourage Sheriffs and Police Chiefs to attend with their narcotics team, gang team, officers, and deputies. We also welcome Assistant District Attorneys who are fast partners in this struggle for justice and making our communities safe.
The North Carolina Bar has approved 8.5 hours of CLE credit for Attorneys.
Seating is limited, so please register early. The registration fee is $225.00 (with additional processing fees). We are unable to offer refunds after registration closes on May 7, 2026; however, registrants can be substituted upon request.
