Training sessions will take place on the following dates:
- September 13 (Tuesday) – Pitt County
- September 14 (Wednesday) – Duplin County
- September 20 (Tuesday) – Haywood County
- September 21 (Wednesday) – Catawba County
- October 5 (Wednesday) – Wake County
Check-in will begin at 9:00 a.m. and each training session will take place from 9:30 a.m. until approximately 3:30 p.m. Lunch and instructional materials will be provided ONLY to those attendees who have registered in advance.
Please Note: In order to participate as a “receiving” county in the SMCP for the upcoming year, a sheriff’s office must send at least one representative to one of the annual training classes. “Receiving” counties who do not send a representative to a 2022 fall training class will not receive any further SMCP inmates until after the completion of the 2023 fall training.
