Training sessions will be held on the following dates:
- September 5 (Thursday) – Pitt County
- September 6 (Friday) – Duplin County
- September 11 (Wednesday) – Haywood County
- September 12 (Thursday) – Catawba County
- September 17 (Tuesday) – Wake County
Check-in will begin at 9:00 a.m. and each training session will be held from 9:30 a.m. until approximately 3:30 p.m. Lunch and instructional materials will be provided ONLY to those attendees who have registered in advance.
Please Note: In order to participate as a “receiving” county in the SMCP for the upcoming year, a sheriff’s office must send at least one representative to one of the annual training classes. “Receiving” counties who do not send a representative to a 2024 fall training class will not receive any further SMCP inmates until after the completion of the 2025 fall training.
